Location: Rotorua Name: Pipi Age: 1 year 10 months Sex: Female Desexed/vaccinated/microchipped: Yes to all Breed: Mixed cattle dog Commands: sit, stay, lie down, on your bed. Can fetch.
Temperament: She’s very loving and loyal to her owner. Very good with other dogs and people. Pipi is a rescue and is very shy and very timid. She would love a home with other dogs. She's intelligent and eager to learn...however her recall can be poor in the wrong environment, once she loses focus or gets scared. Takes a little while to warm up to people.
She’s happiest when out hiking or at the dog park. You can certainly see the working genes in her, she's very busy and our biggest challenge has been training her to settle around new people as she can be quite scared.
She's house trained and needs a fully fenced section and has always slept inside. Once shes settled in a home She's usually very calm and will mostly sit on her bed. She is quite scared of humans and will bark but is timid and doesn't have an aggressive nature for animals or humans. Scared around children and not good with cats. She will need training around farm animals.
Reason for rehoming: Pipi is very energetic loves walks and playing and with a newborn baby on the scene she’s just not getting the exercise and attention she needs. This hasn't been any easy decision but know it’s best she goes somewhere she can spend more time out walking and playing. would suit someone with an active lifestyle.
