Description

Rosie is a young collie x looking for a quiet home where she can feel safe and secure. She arrived at the Pound two months ago pregnant (although no-one realised) and absolutely terrified of people.

Rosie is still very scared of people but she wants to trust and she is such a sweetie with everyone she knows and loves. She runs around the Pound now tail wagging playing with ShyBoy, Moose, Baxter and now young Winnie. Rosie is such a different dog from when she arrived.

Rosie is average size, she is still scared of so many things like balls and fast movements so she will only be rehomed to some-one experienced with dogs who leads a calm life. As Rosie is good with other dogs, she'd be happy with lots of canine excitement and chaos, it's just the human kind she doesn't understand and shies away from.

Rosie does like her walks, she loves to sniff and every now and then I see a surprised glint in her eye telling me she didn't think life could be so good. We feel that once Rosie feels secure she’s going to be a wonderful companion to a the right person or people.

Rosie is in good health, she has been desexed, vaccinated, wormed and flea’d and microchipped. For an interview please ring The Tasman Dog Pound 03 543 7012.
