Laken is a beautiful 12 month old 3/4 Border Collie 1/4 German Spitz cross with a lovely medium coat making her grooming requirements actually very reasonable. She is very compact and would weight under 15kg. She is microchipped, up to date with vaccinations and worming, and due for council registration renewal at the end of July. She has not yet been spayed. Laken is an incredibly affectionate and intelligent young dog with a gentle nature. She has excellent recall, is very obedient, and thrives on interaction and companionship. She adores children and would be a wonderful addition to a dog loving family who can give her the time and attention she deserves. Laken is best suited to an active home, or with someone who is retired or works from home, as she loves being around people. Unfortunately, due to a recent marital separation and full-time work commitments, along with the care needs of my older dog im no longer able to provide her with the environment she needs to flourish. Due to boredom, Laken has recently started occasionally digging, a behaviour we believe will ease once she’s in a more stimulating and supportive home where she has the activity, and connection she craves. I’m not asking for any money, if you’re willing to take her as she is and cover her upcoming registration and spaying costs, I would be so grateful to see her placed in the right forever home.
