It’s with a heavy heart and deep reluctance that I’m looking to rehome my amazing dog. He’s truly one of a kind, loyal, loving, and full of personality. Due to a change in my circumstances, I can no longer be home with him as much as he deserves, and he needs someone who can give him the time, love, and attention he thrives on.
About Mavrick He's 2 years old in August. Mav's mum was an Amstaff mix, and dad was a Neo mastiff.
Temperament: Gentle, playful, and affectionate once he gets to know you.
Kids: Absolutely adores children, he’s patient, kind, and loves being part of the family.
Cats: Loves our cats and lives peacefully alongside them.
Other Dogs: Needs to be slowly introduced to other dogs. For now, he’s best suited to a single-dog home, unless you have experience with big dogs and proper training.
People: A bit cautious at first, but once he warms up, he’s your best mate.
Training: Crate trained and responds to commands, although if you say “get in your bed,” he’ll sit wherever he is and pretend that’s his bed (classic!).
Fun Stuff: Loves a good play fight with his people, riding on the back of the ute, and being part of the action.
Food: Not a fussy eater — currently on Ranchmans.
Health: Fixed, registered, had all puppy vaccinations, and is due for a booster.
What He Needs: A loving home where he’s not left alone for long periods. Someone who understands big dogs and can continue his socialization journey. A safe, secure environment where he can thrive and be part of the family.
If you think you could love him as much as I do, and are happy to give up your couch space, because once he's on there you won't be able to fit too, please reach out. He’s ready to be someone’s best friend.
