Description
5 years old
Koda is amazing with children and currently lives with another female dog, but she truly prefers people. She is our 8year olds bestfriend. She’s not aggressive toward other dogs, just more interested in human company. She would love to be the only dog in a home where she can soak up all the attention. She’s affectionate, full of personality, and a little dramatic in the best way.
Recently, she’s become unsettled when left home alone. Despite trying different routines and kennel setups, she’s been crying and barking while we’re at work. With both of us working full time and juggling busy kids’ schedules, we know she deserves more daily companionship than we can give.
Koda would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time. retired or working from home. She’s an indoor girl, very well-trained on and off leash, doesn’t pull, and has worked with a professional pack walker. She loves walks and swimming.
She weighs around 30kg and is on the smaller side for a shepherd. She gets compliments everywhere she goes, she is so beautiful.
Koda is not desexed, and part of her adoption will include either having her desexed or a signed agreement that she will not be bred from.
Please know she won’t be going to just anyone. We’ll be very thoughtful in finding the right home. This is an emotional decision and we kindly ask for no judgement or advice — we’ve truly tried everything and are doing what we feel is best for Koda even though it’s going to break our hearts.
If you think you can offer Koda a forever, loving home with plenty of company, we would love to hear from you.
