Description
4 years old
Amie Kay is a rising five-year-old and a sweet and spirited girl with a big heart and a playful bounce. She’s often flopped on the carpet without a care in the world—but when the mood strikes, that helicopter tail gets going and she’ll greet you with a happy burst of energy.
She’s an inquisitive soul who loves to check in on what you’re up to—just in case it involves her. And if you’re offering back or bum scratches? You’re in for a treat: Amie Kay does a joyful little leg dance when she’s really enjoying it.
For a greyhound, Amie Kay has a real love for the outdoors. She enjoys exploring, sniffing everything she can, and heading out on adventures. She would suit a semi-active family (with children aged 8 or over), or anyone looking for a greyhound who’s on the more active side. That said, she’s still a greyhound at heart—she’s more than happy to snooze the day away between outings.
Amie Kay is crate trained, clean in the house, and good with other dogs. She brings a little sparkle, a lot of heart, and the perfect mix of affectionate and active.
She’s currently in foster in Dunedin but could be adopted further afield for the right match.
