23rd August Still looking for the right spot for Tucker. Lots of enquiries but reasons I've said no:

• not fenced/small property
• people in rentals

Are you familiar with beardies? Huge character, sensitive, personality.

Tucker is a beardie/BC cross. He's not the easiest dog but he has a lovely nature and will thrive in the right home.

After recent life changes and health issues it's time to look for a better environment for him.

He is:

• super smart and potentially trainable to work or for agility
• loves our cat and children
• VERY talkative! He has a big bark. He barks when he's happy, playing, running, excited....he barks!
• fav games are the flirt pole and chasing bubbles
• is very sensitive and loves cuddles.
• Although he's a big boy (38 kgs) he will try and sit on your knee and he loves rump rubs.
• toilet trained
• needs regular brushing and sheds moderately, sometimes needs a light trim.

Tucker is dearly loved but I've recognised he could definitely be happier and fufill his potential with someone else, the right person/place.

He would suit a rural, fenced environment. I do not know how he would be around stock or chickens. I have an older spaniel and they don't get on so well - mainly around resource guarding. It may be better that he is the solo dog in his new home or else with someone who is experienced to manage a multi-dog household.

He is chipped, desexed, vaccinated. He likes hanging outside in the daytime but sleeps inside. He has not been kennelled or crate trained. He knows basic commands, is ok off lead without distractions but isn't great on the leash (pulls).

I'm happy to travel within reason if it's the right spot, also happy for him to go for a trial to ensure he's the right fit for you. Ideally I want him to go to a home where he can thrive and live his best life. Currently I am unable to drive but should be travelling within a few weeks.
