Lillie came to us from a rural Nth Canterbury property, along with her pup. Owner was going overseas.
Lillie is a lovely foster addition, she's sweet and gentle. Has grown in confidence over the last few months, wants to please. She loves her daily country walks (harness/long line) and in a safe area enjoys a good free run with another dog, she's very fast, good recall. She will eye passing cars, something to be aware of. Much prefers rural walks to residential.
She is fostered with 4 other dogs, I slowly introduced them one at a time (off lead at home) over a few days, went very well. Out on lead walks she gets over stimulated when she sees other dogs. This will need worked on. I think previously her life was pretty sheltered and limited to being on the rural property only, with the same dogs.
Settles beautifully inside, loves affection, house trained, sleeps either in her crate or on a bed. Ok to be left at home (after exercise) for 2-3 hours.
Haven't had her around children as yet, best no cats - keen to chase. Good at the vet and in the car. She's a lovely wee girl looking for a very special home that is happy to do gentle introductions around other dogs.
