Luke from the Fantastic Fluff litter is ready to find his forever humans. Luke is the favorite pup of our youngest staff member; he is very loving and keen to please. Luke is food and affection motivated, which will make further training a breeze. Puppy Luke is 4 months old, and we believe he is a huntaway - border collie cross (we are getting an Orivet Genetic Pet Care litter DNA test done, and the result will be shared with the owner). He had the first set of vaccinations, he had deflea, deworm treatment, he is microchipped and had comprehensive vet checks. Luke would grow up to be a medium size dog, with lots of energy and enthusiasm, and a very good bark (expected with his breed). He is very affectionate with people and dogs and very keen to bond with both. He developed good social skills while in our care, and he is getting along great with all our K9 residents, males, females, small and large, from 7 months to 13 years old. He hasn't paid any attention to our assertive cats. He is not interested in stock, so far. He hasn't been exposed to babies/toddlers. Luke is living inside, and he is housetrained and familiar with crates. He is not a jumper or a nipper, which can be a common occurrence at his age. He has a reasonable recall for his age and doesn't wander away from the pack. This will need reinforcing as he matures. He is developing like a champ and has been evaluated by our trainers as having a very good temperament for an active lifestyle, however he is only 4 months old and will require consistent guidance for the next months, as he will reach teenager stage (as any other puppy his age).
