Say hi to Habanero, a fun-sized little man with a huge personality. This confident pup loves to play, explore and turn everyday moments into fun-filled adventures. He’s big on charm, curiosity and spirit, and he’s eager to find a home that will keep up with his playful energy. Habanero also has an independent streak, enjoying a little time to himself, but he thrives when given attention and interaction with his people.

Tamariki – Dog savvy kids provided proper intros and supervision. Cats – Seems calm around the shelter cat, ok with proper intro’s. Dogs – Good with dogs, needs further socialisation. Stock/poultry – Untested but young enough to train. Size – Currently 2.9kg, likely to mature medium-large sized.

Right now, he’s navigating his puppy sharky phase, so he’ll need a home ready to invest in proper training and guidance.

PLEASE NOTE

• Walk-in viewings at Pukekohe Adoption Centre, 15 Austen Place, Pukekohe are between 10.30am–2.30pm Thurs–Tues.
• All members of the family (inc dogs) are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
• Fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
• It is not first in first served; we aim to find the best home for each dog.
• If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to you.

The adoption fee is $450
