About Bentley:

Breed: Cross-breed, believed to be Greyhound and Lab or German Shepard Age: 6 in November Size: Medium Desexed: Yes Vaccinations: Up to date Microchipped and Registered: Yes Health: Recently vet checked and in great condition. Happy and healthy.

Personality and Temperament:

Bentley is a very bright and loyal dog. He is very active, loves off-leash runs at the park and is a great family pet who is calm, patient and understanding with young children. He is protective of his house and family, although he warms quickly to people once reassured that all is safe. Bentley will not leave the property if the gates are left open, etc. We got Bentley right before COVID, and he missed being well-socialised during this period. He is generally ok with other dogs off lead, but can be quite reactive on lead. His recall is reasonable, and he will always return, although he may take some initial, brief liberties in this respect. Bentley pulls on the lead, at least initially, when his excitement gets the better of him and generally gets better as the walk progresses, although he is reactive around other dogs on lead.

Ideal Home for Bentley:

• A fully fenced yard or lifestyle block
• Active individuals or families who love being outdoors, walks, play and a furry companion
• Owners who are experienced with dogs and have the time to put the effort into Bentley that he deserves
• A home without cats

Why we are rehoming Bentley:

This decision has been incredibly difficult for our family. However, due to a change in circumstances and a family member has special needs and requires our attention, we are unable to give Bentley the time and training that he needs or meet his activity requirements. Our priority is finding a home for him where he can flourish, enjoy life and get the personal engagement that he needs.
