Howard is a gentle and affectionate pup who just needs a little time to warm up. He can be shy at first, especially in new places or around new people, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality shines through.

He loves to snuggle - whether it's curling up in your lap or soaking up the sun in a cozy spot. He’s playful too, and enjoys a good game of tug of war or chasing a ball around the yard.

Howard has been living with both large and small dogs, which has helped him settle quickly and pick up good habits. He’s learning by watching others, so a home with an older, confident dog would really help him continue to thrive.

He’s crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night. Toilet training is going well, and he’s already responding to basic cues - he comes when called and is working on “sit” and waiting patiently for his meals.
