Coco is a sweet, 2 year old, female, Labrador X Staffy, seeking her forever home.

Good with dogs: Yes. Good with cats: No. Good with stock: Has prey drive for ducks and small animals. Great with kids: Yes.

Coco's foster writes:

This lovely lady has an incredibly sweet nature and is as polite as they come. She’s quiet, well-mannered in the home, and loves to please her people. She’s happiest when she’s close to you and will quickly become your loyal shadow and best friend.

She’s been living with other dogs and can enjoy their company on walks or in calm, structured settings, but she prefers to be the only pet in the home. She can be protective of her food, toys, and bed, so a dog-free household will suit her best.

She’s intelligent and thrives when given clear direction and consistent boundaries. She’s already responding beautifully to lead training but can get a bit fixated if she spots a duck or another small animal. For this reason, she’ll need a confident and experienced owner.

This girl is clever too - she’s figured out how to open sliding doors and even tested her jumping skills! A secure, 1.8m fenced section is essential.

Coco is food driven and picks up new things easily. Toilet trained and crate trained, she sleeps in her crate at night and is happy in her crate for a couple of hours during the day. Ongoing training will be of great benefit as she is making great progress with her current foster.

She is fairly low energy and after a walk will happily snooze or snuggle up to you - as close as she can possibly get!

She would do best in a home where she would get lots of love and attention and someone home for part of the day.

Coco's greatest wish is to have a family of her own, she just needs someone to give her a chance and she will love you with all her heart.
