This sieve is perfect for sieving your Sifted Shale Sand. Shale Sand is an economical substrate for your mouse's cage. Used along with some hay for burrowing, Shale helps eliminate mites, reduces odour and saves you money.

Every cleaning day, empty the cage of equipment, position the sieve over a bucket, and pour the used shale into the sieve. Shake the sieve to separate the rubbish from the shale. Throw the rubbish on the garden (it's only hay and mouse poo!) and return the sifted Shale to the freshly cleaned cage. You can do this for up to one month before needing fresh Shale.

Sieve measures 25.5 cm across. Depth is 8.5cm. Generously sized to make sieving easy.
