Stunning Perlino Stallion needing a new home.

His name is Lakota, he’s a Perlino Stationbred, born on 27/11/2021. Golden Horse Society registration # CR261 His Dam was a Buckskin Quarterhorse and Sire a Buckskin Stationbred both at 14.1hh high.

He was well handled when he was younger, you could brush him, lift his feet, halter him easily, put him on and off the float and was easily lead etc. That was up until a year and a half ago when my partner didn’t have the time to spend with him, then he got a little harder to handle with the spring grass coming through, so would need to start again. He will remember his training, he just needs someone with the confidence and time to work with a Stallion. Lakota likes people, is curious, and will always comes for snacks etc so will be easy to start training again. He has not been saddled or ridden. Lakota’s new owner must be experienced with Stallions and have the time for him, we want him to be loved and cared for, with proper training as he will be an amazing horse. The new owner can also Geld him if easier for handling and not wanting to breed.

New potential owner would need to spend some time with him before being able to float him again. We will halter and lead him regularly when we can.

He be would be a great stallion to breed with as he carries the two copies of the cream gene mutation Ccr/Ccr, and will 100% pass one onto his off spring. Example turns Bay mare foals into a Buckskin Foal.

We will be taking offers for him, but again will only go to someone with experience and interested in putting the time in with him.
