Description

BOTH SOLD

Will possibly be listing more soon.

Two gorgeous pedigree English Angora girl's looking for their forever family.

$150 each or $200 together.

Will be ready in about 3 weeks time. $50 deposit required to hold.

Located Hawera but I travel to New Plymouth weekly so can possibly drop them off when they are ready. Also happy to work with pet transporters.

The English Angora has a nice docile cuddly nature. As one of the oldest domestic rabbit breed, they have been selectively bred through centuries to be easy to handle. Their skin is known to be slightly thicker than other rabbit breeds.

Well bred, purebred English Angora have a relatively easy care coat. They should be groomed twice weekly. They should not tangle and matt but you need to pay close attention around their mouth and cheek area's as well as behind/between their ears as the fur there is slightly finer.

To keep this easy care coat characteristic it is important to NEVER cross an Angora rabbit with any other breed. If you cross an Angora with another breed you risk producing what is called a cottonfloss coat. A cottonfloss coat is impossible to maintain as it is so fine it will tangle and matt constantly. Rabbits have thin skin and so brushing a cottonfloss coat can cause painful micro tears under the skin. So you can only keep a rabbit with a cottonfloss coat permanently clipped.

So please keep this in mind if you intend to purchase these two girl's for breeding.
