Rex rabbits have short, even fur – like a mink blanket on legs! Plush & soft, their fur has a category of its own and is more luscious than 'normal fur'. They are the thoroughbreds of the rabbit world. Rex are affectionate on their own terms, such as being stroked while still keeping all four feet firmly on their own floor. Nose rubs? Yes please! They are an incredibly affectionate breed, although do have high-strung energy which does require gentleness in their youth. Highly intelligent, they make a great adult's companion, although if purchasing for children, adult supervision is always required to ensure correct handling.
As they grow up, they are less likely to appreciate being picked up, although male rabbits are more likely to remain cuddly once neutered. Baby rabbits will come with a portion of pellets as changeover feed, currently eating unlimited hay and pellets.

For pet homes, we recommend desexing your rabbits, the best pairing is desexed male & female. Kits & parents are outside rabbits, they wear a coat of fur to keep cosy in winter.
