Adorable young ermine buckling, the last one left in the litter, born 28th June. While he was living with his mama and siblings, he had an injury which impacted on his ability to move, eat & grow. As a result, he has been inside and nursed by humans until his full recovery, and is now ready for his new home. Due to his time inside, he is super friendly and loving towards people and eagerly greets a caressing hand. He is extremely affectionate and has gotten used to daily cuddles, which he returns by giving licks and enjoys being snuggled. He will make an amazing sweet indoor pet, and it is important that his new owners cherish him with daily love he has experienced during his recovery. Bursting with charm and personality—from zoomies to snuggles—he’s ready to hop into your heart and home (see last photo).

Rex rabbits have short, even fur – like a mink blanket on legs! Plush & soft, their fur has a category of its own and is more luscious than 'normal fur'. Highly intelligent, he will make a great adult's companion, and due to his human handling from an early age, he will be sweet with children too. As he matures, he may not appreciate being picked up, so if buying for kids, adult supervision is needed - Rex energy needs gentle handling.

He comes with a portion of pellets as changeover feed - he currently eats unlimited hay and pellets. We recommend desexing him before 5 months of age, this will ensure his current sweet nature remains.

Viewings available Saturdays only. To hold a rabbit, a $15 non-refundable deposit is required. I can meet you in Thames or deliver to Hamilton/North Waikato for an extra $15.
