Approx. 250g of Chirpl's high protein cricket feed. Crickets require roughly 22% protein in their diet to grow as rapidly as possible and to reduce cannibalism (yes, crickets are cannibals!).

A little goes a long way, depending on how many crickets you are feeding. If you are, for example, just trying to keep 100 crickets alive for a while before feeding them out to your pet, we recommend a couple of tablespoons a couple of times a week.

Please remember that these Chirply little creatures will also require hydration. This can be supplied in a number of ways, such as wetting some paper towel or, for larger crickets, providing a saucer of water or chick waterer with pebbles in the bottom so they don't drown while taking a drink. If your crickets are 10mm or smaller, there's a much higher risk of drowning so something like wet towel is a must!
