Balancing Beam with two knock sacks needs a good home with active kids that are not afraid to rough'n'tumble. My friend and I personally built this balancing beam a few years ago and bought all the materials ourselves. I was inspired to build this after memories resurfaced of the balancing beams made for the boys camps at Arapohue Bush Camp. we had pillows in the old plastic potato sacks and would swing it at our opponent to knock them off the beam, thus being the winner.
Height: 1 metre off the ground length: 3 metres long beam. portability: splits into three pieces - beam slots into the two stands at either end. Sacks: soft durable material like stocking or bandage material (not the old plastic potato sacks from the story) Marked center-line for battlers. Condition: weathered outside in sun/rain. may need to be sanded down slightly for ease of pulling apart and slotting together. for longer life, pull apart and keep in garage.
Reasons for selling: A family member is now needing treatment for a serious condition. I have sustained a fractured Talus bone in my workplace in a production warehouse and have had a weak ankle ever since, that is slow to heal. my days of fighting on the balancing beam are over so I don't aggravate ankle further.
