Payment instructions are sent to winning bidders automatically by trademe, payments to be made within 3 days of auction close unless you want to put in on layby. Please include the trademe reference number on your payment as reference. If not, our system cannot pick up your order. We have no responsibility for the delay of shipping.

Payment will be processed when we have received all relevant information required for processing to be completed. The processing of payment for orders placed on a weekend or a Public holiday will not process until the next working day.

Deals Direct accepts payment through Credit cards such as Visa and Master cards through Trademe Pay Now, Bank transfer. All the prices stated on Trademe website are based on New Zealand Dollar and G.S.T Inclusive.

Layby

We offer a 3 Month Layby on orders over $100.00 only on buy now auctions with a minimum deposit of only 20% required with the reminder to be paid off over a 3 month period with regular weekly payments, cancellation fees apply if not completed or cancelled

Pick up

Deals Direct will only allow pick up on those auctions that we have pick-ups allow, if we do not have a pick up allowed on auctions buyers need to pay it online and they are dispatched from different locations.

Delivery

We cannot deliver goods to PO BOX or PRIVATE BAG

Smaller items are sent via courier and all larges items are sent via freight forwarder. All goods are shipped same day or the next after confirmation that payment has been received. Delays can occur during peak times such as Christmas and long weekends – please be patient.

Deliveries within Auckland will be same day delivery or next day, North Island will take approximately 2 working days. South Island deliveries will take approximately 3 to 5 working days to deliver. For rural and outer island deliveries please allow 3-5 working days, You will be provided with a tracking number through email once your order is dispatched. You will be able to view the statues of your delivery online.

We are happy to combine shipping; in general, you will pay full postage for the item with the highest freight and half freight for each additional item. Larger items or heavy weight items cannot be combined.

Warranties

All our products come with a minimum 3 months warranty under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, unless mentioned as 12 months warranty on the auctions. However If you buy the product for business purposes, the warranties in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 shall not apply in respect of those products.

Return & Refund Policy

If you receive a faulty product or an item that is damaged upon arrival, please contact us immediately within 72 hours of receiving the item so that we can ensure that we meet our obligations to you under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. For claims made after this time frame Deals Direct reserve the right to refuse courier claims.

Please ensure that you have foreseen all possible options before returning the item to us.

If the items returned to us as faulty are found to be in full working order upon testing, you will be liable for any extra shipping costs incurred. If the product is found to be faulty, we may replace the faulty goods, if the product cannot be repaired or exchanged for a same or similar item. If we decide the item should be returned to us, we will advise the arrangements for this. Refunds will only be offered where a replacement is not available.

Please be aware refunds will be processed via the method of payment, there may be some delay before funds appear in your account due to bank clearance.
