KidsCan is a New Zealand charity dedicated to helping Kiwi kids affected by poverty. We help tamariki experiencing hardship by providing food, jackets, shoes and health products to over 1,100 schools and early childhood centres across New Zealand.

With these essentials, kids can participate in learning and have the opportunity for a better future.

KidsCanBall is an epic 24-hour handball-athon brought to you by KidsCan and The Hits radio station, and taking place from 8am - 8am on April 4th and 5th.

KidsCan ambassador Jordan Watson (How to DAD), together with Hits radio stars Jono & Ben, will be trying to make it through 24-hours of playing non-stop handball, all to raise funds for Kiwi kids in need.

More than 200 schools and early childhood centres are waiting for KidsCan's help - That's the biggest waitlist we’ve had since 2018! Our goal is to raise $350,000 to help bring 40 more schools into our programmes this year - that means 5,000 more kids warm, fed and ready to learn.

Every last bid goes towards helping Kiwi kids in need, so when the final ball bounces and the clock strikes 24-hours we've raised $350,000 and got our boys Jono, Ben and How to DAD over the finish line to help 5,000 more Kiwi kids living in hardship.
