Auction Process:

Auction Close

At close of auction you will be sent an automated email with instructions on how to make payment via either Paynow or Direct into our bank account. If you don’t receive this email please check in your spam / junk folder.

Address Received

We prefer addresses to be sent via Trademe, this is the most efficient way to avoid shipping delays. If your address is incorrect please call us immediately 07-855 9369 or 0508 ARCHERY, we take no responsibility for items sent to incorrect delivery addresses, however we will work with you to try and redeem the issue.

Payment Received

When we receive your payment (this can take up to 72 hours after you actually make the payment depending on which bank you are with, especially over weekends). Items that haven’t been paid using a correct trademe reference number may result in delayed shipping. Please contact us by polite phone call or phone message and we will respond to you at our first convenience.

Goods Dispatched

Once we have your address and payment we will package the auction and dispatch it, items are packed in order of payment and address received. You should receive your package shortly afterward.

We use Fastway Couriers for all parcels. We cannot deliver to PO Boxes nor do we offer standard Post. We cannot guarantee overnight or Saturday deliveries.

On dispatch of your parcel our system will send you an automated email with tracking details. Fastways Delivery Window is generally 2 – 3 working days from when we dispatch, for rural deliveries you should allow 5 working days. If your parcel hasn’t arrived within this time frame pleased contact us immediately as it is much easier to find lost / missing parcels within a few days of sending them out than several weeks later.

Combined Shipping…

We offer combined shipping where practical on same day purchases. This is the highest priced shipping cost of all items purchased plus a handling fee of .50c per additional item.

Guarantee Policy & Faulty Goods:

Strings and arrows are not covered under warranty

Please note: Cables, strings, arrows or wearable items are not covered by warranty. If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Evidence of abuse, mishandling, misuse, or alteration to any product voids any claim to warranty. Shooting arrows lighter than recommended for the bow peak weight can overstress the bow, void warranty and may cause damage to the bow or injury to the shooter. We are always happy to help with arrow selection.

Never “dry-fire” your bow, this is when your bow is shot with no arrow. Dry-firing your bow can and does happen however is not covered by warranty, it is important if for whatever reason of your bow is dry-fired we can assess the damage of the bow by stripping it down to ensure it is still safe for use. We work on our customer’s behalf to get everything back on track as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.

When purchasing arrows for your bow, consult the selection chart from the arrow manufacturer and select the correct arrow for your application. Always use an arrow that is at least 5 grains per pound of peak bow weight. Failure to do so could cause personal injury and damage to your bow.

Custom Built Products:

Custom built products are not started until payment is received and are made in order of payment. Please ensure if you have a custom built item your product details are sent to us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Please include a contact telephone number also.

Custom Built Arrows – Arrows that require building may take up to 2 - 6 days in peak periods or due to unforeseen circumstances (weather affecting adhesion) we allow 2 - 6 days in the event that arrows may need to be restarted.

Bow Packages – Bow Packages are built and paper tuned to the information we are given; the bow will still need to be sighted by each individual. We don’t recommend adjusting your bow yourself as this will detune your equipment. We are limited to the information we are given so if in doubt about any specifications please contact us and we can help you. Bow packages can take longer to put together in peak season but generally we aim for a maximum of 1 - 3 days to build a bow package.

Crossbow Sales:

We won’t supply crossbows to anyone under the age of 18 and may require proof of age to be faxed emailed or supplied, we also reserve the right to decline sales of crossbows at our discretion – in this event you will be refunded immediately. Privacy Act:

Under no circumstances will we pass your details on to a third party, and all information supplied to Archery Direct is considered private and confidential.

Feedback:

Feedback is placed once feedback has been received, due to the volume of product we sell we place feedback as often as we can however this can take up to a week. Please don’t panic we always place feedback.
