Please note: Our courier cannot deliver to a PO Box (or similar). Please enter a physical home or work shipping address when placing your order. All orders require a signature on delivery.

Some parcels entering New Zealand may incur additional customs fees or import duties. The customer is responsible for any fees that may be charged by the New Zealand government upon goods entering the country. CostumeBox is unable to mark your parcel as a ‘gift’ in order to avoid potential charges as this would be unlawful.

Customs and Duty Charges

International orders may be subject to local charges. Any customs or import duties and associated fees are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. CostumeBox cannot be held responsible for any additional charges on your order, nor can we accept a return of the order in this case. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for further information. If you refuse to pay these charges your parcel may be abandoned, and CostumeBox will not be held responsible for any loss of funds as a result of this occurrence or refund your purchase. We cannot mark International orders as a gift in order to bypass or reduce any customs fees. This is an illegal practice and as an established business we will not do this.

Returns

Our 100 Day Return Policy means that you have heaps of time to return your order if you decide against it for any reason. Sending back your item is easy, just follow the below steps:

1. Package your item(s) and invoice into the original parcel packaging or suitable new packaging.
2. Attach your returns label onto the parcel, ensuring any original delivery labels are covered.
3. Post your parcel back to us, by taking it to your local post office and return it using a trackable service.

Please Note:

Please take care when packing your costume that the integrity of the label and bag are maintained. In addition to special orders and mascots, we are unable to offer exchanges on the following items if the packaging has been opened for hygiene reasons: -Hosiery and undergarments -Stockings and socks -Eyelashes and contact lenses -Faux beards, moustaches -Prosthetics: fangs, fake teeth -Cosmetics - Inflatable products -Any item that has been worn or altered.

If you need a different size or a new item altogether, the most efficient way for you to get it fast is to place a new order for the correct size or item and follow our Returns procedure above to get a refund for the original order.

Faulty Stock

If you have received a damaged or faulty product, we are happy to fix it up for you as quickly as possible. Please contact our Customer Service Team online or at +61280750314 so we can send you a replacement item right away and make arrangements to get the faulty product back to us.

1. Can I get a refund if the costume is not suitable? Of course! We have a “No Worries”, 100 Day Return policy. You can return any costume and most accessories any time within 100 days for a full refund, minus the original postage. The only condition is that it must be in its original unworn condition and in its original intact packaging.

4. When will you be getting more in stock? Our buyers are always working hard to get the latest and greatest costumes and accessories for your needs. All stock is replenished as quickly as possible. If you have an enquiry regarding an individual costume or accessories please do not hesitate to contact our friendly customer service team and they will liaise with the buyers to give you the most accurate information possible.

5. Can I exchange for a different size? The way to exchange is that you first need to go online and re-order the costume you need in the new size. This is to ensure that you can secure that item (popular items sell out quickly), and we can get it out to you as quickly as possible. Please remember to include a copy of your invoice so we know who the order belongs to.

6. How do I know which size is right for me? Like fashion brands, each costume brand can fit a little differently. To help with sizing, we have a very extensive range of size charts specific to the supplier for each of our costumes. The size charts will appear as a second image on the costume page. We recommend comparing measurements as this is the most accurate way to find a size that will be just right for you. In some of our product descriptions we also provide measurements and additional information for each costume.

We stock a huge range of costumes from a broad range of the best suppliers available. Every brand has different size charts and fits, so please consult the size charts located in the image options for each item. Be sure to consult the size chart of every costume you are looking at, as they will have different size charts and fits between them.
