The very first talking Buzz Lightyear toy prototype was produced in 1995 ... in tandem with Toy Story's release. There have been quite a few versions released since. This was bought for my child when they were four years old, so it's around 24 to 25 years old. Everything works on this guy ... Lazer sounds, alarms, and a number of phrases, such as Buzz saying: "Buzz Lightyear! Lift off to adventure!" "We've got to rendezvous with Star Command!" "Off to the Gama-quadrant!" "Take cover" ... followed by an alarm. Other buttons sound an alarm and one makes Buzz's 'metal power-pack' wings pop out (see photos). His limbs and hands all rotate ... he is fully posable. His head turns and his helmet can be opened and closed. He is in his original presentation box, but it is a wee bit battered.
