Handmade Designer collectible Bear from USA - The Sassy Cow brand.

This model is called ‘Sailor Bear’ and has a fisherman’s cap and is holding a basket made of sticks full of beach finds, shells etc.

Excellent condition, not played with used only for display. Still has tags attached and authentic hand written tag.

This listing is for one fabulous handmade ' bear’, by Sassy Cow Designs, USA, during the 1980s. This company sadly went out of business some years ago. These bears - are designed to look like old-world 'Orphan - Annies' - dressed in shabby clothes and looking wistful. They were not intended as toys for children; rather as decorator pieces, highly collectable as very few still exist.
