These bears are Russ bears from the Teddy Town Collection from the 1990's.

They stand about 12cm tall, are made of a plastic resin and are jointed (neck, arms and legs move).

This auction is for Santa (on the left) and the Groom (on the right). Santa still has his tag. Both are in fair condition for their age but these are things of note:

• Santa's buckle needs a tiny dot of glue to glue down the corner that has peeled up.
• The Groom has a little bit of clear tape over his shirt seam where the seam has been stretched. I actually purchased him new like this and wondered whether they did this during the manufacturing stage or in store? It has remained a mystery. At the time I don't believe there were any replacement Grooms (he was a bit rare) so I gratefully put him in my collection. This Groom does not have his tag.

I began collecting these bears in the 1990's (most of them purchased from new) and amassed quite a collection! I had these on display in a cabinet for a short time and then they were put into storage until now. Whilst stored away, I stored them with moth balls (camphor balls) to protect from insects that like to eat holes in natural fibres and the bears sure do smell of camphor! They may take a little bit of time in fresh air for the smell to dissipate. But rest assured, no insects got to them! :)

I am selling these because I am downsizing to tiny living and have limited space, hence I'm making the decision to cull some of my collections.
