These bears are Russ bears from the Teddy Town Collection from the 1990's.

They stand about 12cm tall, are made of a plastic resin and are jointed (neck, arms and legs move).

This auction is for the Fisher (on the left) and Sherlock (on the right), both with tags, and both in excellent condition for their age!

The Fisher's net falls out of his hand if you give it a knock, so feels free to re-glue it back into place.

I began collecting these bears in the 1990's (most of them purchased from new) and amassed quite a collection! I had these on display in a cabinet for a short time and then they were put into storage until now. Whilst stored away, I stored them with moth balls (camphor balls) to protect from insects that like to eat holes in natural fibres and the bears sure do smell of camphor! They may take a little bit of time in fresh air for the smell to dissipate. But rest assured, no insects got to them! :)

I am selling these because I am downsizing to tiny living and have limited space, hence I'm making the decision to cull some of my collections.
