The true enthusiast, and any student of the Jaguar marque will know of the controversy surrounding this race. Regardless of the speculation and accusations that followed, this win, now firmly etched into the history books, was the first of three consecutive wins for Jaguar and the D-Type. Make no mistake, this is a truly outstanding model. If you are fortunate enough to have the 1:18 scale version of this car in your collection, then this is obviously next level by a factor of 10! The photos in no way do it justice, suffice to say the levels of detail and finish are a wonder to lay your eyes on. Included are all original packaging items including features booklet and the Certificate of Authenticity showing Serial No. 1356. Also included is a genuine AUTOart 1:12 Scale Display Case, in which to display your new baby. This has never been opened due to the D-Type having been displayed in my Display cabinet.
