This is an AutoArt 1:18 HK Monaro driven to victory by Bruce McPhee and Barry Mulholland in the 1968 Hardie Ferodo 500 Bathurst. It is one of a limited edition of 4000. The CoA is # 2098/4000.
The Model, CoA and brochure are all in excellent condition (been in storage, never displayed).
This model was bought years ago from a deceased estate as part of a package and did not come with its coloured box (lost). So out it goes for a $1 reserve.
Back in the day, when privateer's could still beat the manufacturer's entered work's team entries; For the 1968 Hardie Ferodo Bathurst race, Bruce McPhee's Monaro was his own private entry and with it he nailed down, not only pole position, but also the outright race win.
