Unique Set of gear rings with pinion. After careful consideration i have made 3 new gear rings. These have 20DP gear tooth on outside of ring, and 38DP (standard Meccano) on inside. Reason for this is with larger projects the 38dp on outer ring can "jump"teeth. So going to larger tooth, this solves this issue. Doesn't happen so easily with inside teeth. There are 3 sizes of ring and 1" pinion. Pack consists:

1 x 180x 6" / 4.5" 120T Outer 20DP and 171T Inner 38DP @25.00 1 x 180y 7" / 5.5" 140T Outer 20DP and 209T Inner 38DP @30.00 1 x 180z 8" / 6.5" 160T Outer 20DP and 247T Inner 38DP @ 35.00 1 x Solid Brass 1" 20DP pinion @ 20.00

This has never been offered before from what i understand. The rings are finished in Black Oxide and can be easily painted if required by purchaser.

These look better on older style cranes than the 38DP gear rings and can handle immense torque without jumping teeth etc. This is a "one off" run of these parts, so grab them while you can
