  • Would you freight to Russell? Trade Me User 1:12 pm, Thu, 7 Aug Yes absolutely. I will get my husband to work out the box measurements so I can do a freight cost and will add a comment to the listing letting you know what it is. Trade Me Seller • 1:47 pm, Thu, 7 Aug
  • The freight cost from Whitianga to Russell will be $46.00. As I don't know your address I just did it to the centre of Russell township. Trade Me Seller Comment 2:13 pm, Thu, 7 Aug
  • does the sail winch still work? Trade Me User 9:04 am, Wed, 13 Aug Hi there. Yes the last time we sailed it everything was working, it needs new batterys to try it now but it should be good still as its only been sitting in our lounge! Trade Me Seller • 10:02 am, Wed, 13 Aug
  • Hi, if I won your auction I was wondering how close to the ferry you are as we have good friends from Tauranga who often spend the weekend at their bach at Cooks Beach. I am just a bit worried that particularly the mast and sails are very fragile and not easy to protect in a courier package? Thanks Trade Me User 10:11 am, Mon, 11 Aug Hi, no worries at all to drop off as the ferry is just up the road. We found the original box and packing that it came with so we can repack it all so its safe as houses :) I added a photo of the box. Trade Me Seller • 10:33 am, Mon, 11 Aug
  • Hi, I just need to ask, did you address the common issue with leaking hatches prior to sailing the yacht, or after some water egress? Thank you. Trade Me User 11:22 am, Tue, 12 Aug Being an engineer and radio control enthusist, I could tell as soon as I saw the hatch it was going to be rubbish so I made a soft silicon seal and added a carbon fibre stiffening to the hatch (See photo added) Re any cracks causing leakage around the keel I did the modification which you can find online and epoxyed 2 stiffening rails inside alongside the keel box. Trade Me Seller • 11:41 am, Tue, 12 Aug
  • How about freight to Brightwater in Tasman ballpark figure? Cheers Trade Me User 9:44 pm, Thu, 7 Aug Hi, no problem I did it to the town centre of Brightwater, bit more expensive crossing islands but it worked out to be $80.00. Trade Me Seller • 10:41 am, Fri, 8 Aug
