The newer, version II of this lens with much better optics

Glass is immaculate inside and out. The body work is excellent with only the slightest scuffs on the bottom of tripod foot you can see in photo. Very well cared for, stored and had minimal use. This lens is a dream to use.

Probably the most usable of the big whites, and size wise it barely qualifies. At just over 2kg, under 24cm (fixed) -this lens is about as hand holdable as 'long' and bright lenses get. Makes it a great lens for wildlife, travel or sports. With modern cameras auto focus and high ISO performance the primary reason to go f2.8 is for shallower dof. And that's has +/-, you will also pay more and and have a much larger, heaver, and less nimble lens.
