12A light weight flywheel
Description
Brand new 10lb flywheel with new genuine Mazda ring gear.
CNC machined right here in the BOP from 4140 chromoly steel. Milled recesses for pressure plate rivet clearance. 2x stepped bolt holes for correct pressure plate alignment. Ring gear can be replaced should the need arise. Proven to 12,000+rpm.
Suit all 12a and early 13b engines (300mm ring gear).
New Mazda rear counterweights available to suit all engine models. Hi tensile clutch/flywheel bolt kits available.
--4140 vs 1045 material-- 4140 is significantly stronger and has a superior wear rate compared to the more commonly used 1045 material. Subsequently 4140 has a higher purchase price, hence the reason our flywheels cost a little more than others.
We also offer: -13B turbo flywheels (9.5in clutch) -13b turbo step-down billet flywheels (8.5in clutch). -12A & 13B turbo flywheels to suit 7.25in clutches (Quartermaster, Tilton, etc). -Ultra lightweight button flywheels with flex plates (circuit racing, Pro7 PLUS, Rx8 class, etc)
