Viscous 3.7 lsd . Fine for better traction on a road car but no good for a track car . Out of a U12 SSS Datsun I believe , which back in the day were used in rally cars by the lower budget enthusiasts . In good working condition, but would recommend an oil change . A great option for a 240z and a straight bolt in replacement . You will need to run c/v joints ( to replace the heavy u joint set up which won’t support any real power increases )so will need a change of companion flanges on the stub axles . Your local Datsun officianados will know the best options for you . A great upgrade for a modified road car, without the weight and expense of changing to an r200 lsd set up .
