The coating has a low initial viscosity that wets and penetrates the surface to the origin of the rust. This unique process literally enables the coating to galvanize itself to the material, becoming an integral part of the surface. While the KBS coating has a moderate level of UV stability, the finish will dull and fade if exposed for extended periods to direct sunlight.
