I went to a dealer for trust and protection. But buying from this place caused me unnecessary time wasting and stress. Fortunately, I got an AA pre-inspection check as there was hardly any oil in the vehicle and the Battery faulty - you would think that this was checked before going on sale. I asked the dealership to attend to this before purchasing which they said they did. The car was delivered to me as I was out of town. It was completely filthy inside, looked like it had never been cleaned. Dirt/dust in every nook and cranny. The passenger seat had stains on it. Also the WOF was about to run out. A dealership has a legal obligation to sell a vehicle with a new WOF. I had to go back to them via email/phone and took a couple of days for anyone there to address this after I had said I would be taking this to the dispute's tribunal. They then said to take it to a local mechanics to get a quote done. I had to say to them that no one is going to do a WOF inspection for free to tell me what is wrong. So going back and forward finally got them to agree to pay for a WOF and any work that needed done to get a WOF. The car needed a new tyre, headlight was out, wiper blades weren't up to WOF standard, and the plate light was out. I asked them if they would contribute to a groom which they wouldn't. They said the car left the yard and was clean (which is ridiculous as it looked it had never been cleaned). I feel no care or pride was taken in the sale of this vehicle. What kind of business is this where my staff were sending out filthy cars that don't meet legal requirements.
