This toy is based on the Monsters vs. Aliens movie from 2009: an American animated, science-fiction, action-comedy, family-film produced by DreamWorks. Insectosaurus was originally a one-inch grub who was transformed by radiation into a 350-foot (almost 107-metre) tall monster that attacked Tokyo. She was captured and formed a close bond with the Missing Link, who is the only person that can understand her. She later transformed into a butterfly.
