Up for auction is a beautiful and authentic example of an early Māori toki (adze).
Details: Type: Small Duff Type 2b Material: Fine-grained greywacke (mudstone) Finish: Polished on all surfaces Condition: Minor chipping to the bevel, with a well-formed blade section—overall in excellent condition for its age
Provenance: Found at Hobsons Bay, Auckland in 1967 Full provenance included, with original Y form and finder's information
