Ranger Herbicide: Effective control for Buttercup and docks in Pasture and Cereal Crops.

Ranger contains 750g/kg Thifensulfuron-Methyl, is highly effective for controlling buttercup and docks in pastures, wheat, barley, and oats. Spring is typically the best time for application.

Ranger works as a selective herbicide, targeting docks and buttercup, while being safe for ryegrass and clover. It is low in toxicity, non-hormonal, and non-volatile, making it a safer option for your crops.

The herbicide is absorbed through the leaves, inhibiting new growth without poisoning the weeds. While the growth stops quickly, it may take 4 to 6 weeks for the plants to fully die off.

For optimal results, apply Ranger in spring, when plants are in their peak growth phase. It’s best to graze pastures before application to encourage regrowth.

After application, you may notice a short-term reduction in ryegrass vigour and a temporary 3-4 month growth check in clover. However, avoid spraying during periods of poor pasture health, as this could cause more significant suppression.

Ranger can be applied by ground boom, air, or spot spraying, with a recommended rate of 20g/ha. A 500g pack will cover up to 25 hectares.

There's no need for a wetter or penetrant when spraying selectively for docks and buttercups.

Important: Do not graze treated areas for 7 days after application.
