Description
Each of these cassette style constructions is brand new and unused, never installed. Combined they make for a total feeder width of 2.56m being the two sides of 750mm each and the centre section of 1060mm. The two outer sections are inclined slightly to help concentrate the material flow to the centre. We estimate the two side sections are roughly 2,000kg each.
They could also be used in a narrower 60” jaw opening application with the deletion of the centre section for a width of 1.5m or 60”. The centre unit in that case would make a fine 1060mm wide feeder section on its own. So there are two feeders in one if you like.
The finger gap is 115mm opening to 150mm at the tips. The steel thickness for the top impact section varies between 51mm and 32mm and you can be sure Joest uses the best available steel for the purpose.
We also have a pair of Joest imbalance units that have been rebuilt for mine use but it may be this setup might only need one of them but if split into two units as described we have one for each.
We’ve often been approached over the years by quarries and contractors looking to sort gabion boulder. Like in the for a screener that can separate boulder from 1200mm to 450mm into various sizes for relining and covering the offshore pipelines from production stations to shore but there’s never been anything that could handle rock of that size until now.
This item meets the criteria as an imported machine (Imported, never used in New Zealand) and so qualifies for the Investment Boost scheme special 20% depreciation Tax rebate. We have the import documents of course to substantiate this.
