How Sourcing works
For the first time in New Zealand, Sourcing brings the biggest car marketplaces into one dashboard, giving you a comprehensive view of all cars for sale instantly. No more jumping between platforms or missing out on opportunities.

You have the ability to save searches, set notification alerts when new cars are listed that match your criteria, and share information within your dealership such as assigning cars to members of your team to enquire about and track their status.
How can you use Sourcing?
Sourcing is a great way for you or your team to purchase stock locally, and drill down into different variants of one particular model.
Let’s take a Volkswagen Golf for example - with sourcing, you can see all variants of Golf’s at a high level, but you can also drill down to identify what variant is selling fastest and for the highest margins. You might find that Golf R’s are selling slower than Golf GTI’s, but they might have a higher margin and less market supply which can help inform you and your team's purchasing decisions.
Sourcing also provides you with a list of all the cars that match your criteria currently for sale, where they are physically being sold and what marketplace they’re being sold in.

What are the benefits of Sourcing?
Following on from the example above, Sourcing gives you the ability to view all Golf R’s that are currently on the market, as well as the delisted data that shows the last price they were advertised for as well as current listing prices. This gives you a better idea of how much you could realistically sell for when you set your prices.

This will save you plenty of time in the long run when researching stock, especially having data from Trade Me, Facebook Marketplace, and Auto Trader in one place.
For franchise dealers

Sourcing gives you the full picture of what’s currently for sale in the market. This enables you to make faster, more informed decisions on what cars could be viable to purchase and also gives you a vital pulse check on the current state of the market.
For independent dealers
Sourcing locally: Use Sourcing to determine whether there are cars that fit in your stock profile available for sale in New Zealand right now that’ll give you a good margin. If a certain make/model of a car has low supply in the market, this could be your opportunity to import new stock if nothing is available locally.
Importing vehicles: While you wait for that stock to arrive from overseas, you can regularly check the market and watch pricing trends. This means that as soon as your car arrives, you can list it for the best price and move stock faster.
