How do I book Audience Extension?

It’s super simple! Either book Audience Extension through your CRM provider, or contact propertyagents@trademe.co.nz and someone from our property support team will get in touch with you (please refer to your CRM provider for instructions).

What listings can I apply Audience Extension to?

In order to book Audience Extension, a Silver, Gold or New Homes Package must be applied to your residential for sale or new homes listing. Packages can either be active or expired. Audience Extension cannot be applied to a relisted property that had previously purchased an eligible package, but do not have an active package currently applied to the relist.

How long does Audience Extension take to go live?

Your ads will go live across Facebook, Instagram and Google Display Network, 24 hours after Audience Extension has been applied to your listing. This 24 hour delay applies to new listings and existing listings that add Audience Extension. We’ll provide a link to your Facebook ad in OneHub as soon as the ad has gone live - you’ll be able to share and engage with this ad on Facebook.

How long does the Audience Extension campaign stay live for?

The campaign will run for 14 days. Campaigns are scheduled to commence 24 hours after Audience Extension has been applied to a listing.

Is there a renewal rate?

No. Renewal rates do not apply to Audience Extension.

What images will be displayed on the Audience Extension ads?

The first three images that are displayed on your Trade Me Property listing will be shown on your Audience Extension ads.

How can I view my Audience Extension ad and track it’s performance?

You can view your Audience Extension Facebook ad and campaign performance report in OneHub. Ad clicks will be added to the listing dashboard in OneHub and displayed in the downloadable PDF report.

Can I cancel my Audience Extension and get a refund?

An Audience Extension campaign can be cancelled by emailing our property support team propertyagents@trademe.co.nz. If Audience Extension is cancelled within 24 hours of it being added to a listing, no charge will be incurred. If Audience Extension is cancelled after 24 hours of it being added to a listing, the full cost of the product will be charged.

What happens to Audience Extension if I withdraw or relist a listing?

If you decide to withdraw your listing, Audience Extension will be automatically cancelled. The same terms and conditions apply as stated in the question above.

We do not support the continuation of a campaign if a property is withdrawn and subsequently relisted within the original campaign dates. In this scenario, the original campaign will be cancelled (as per the terms above) and a new Audience Extension campaign will need to be purchased if desired.

How much is it?

A Silver, Gold or New Homes Package must be applied to your listing in order to book Audience Extension.

  • Partner price: $299 incl GST (only available to Gold or Silver Package Partners).


New homes

  • Standard price: $299 excl GST.
  • Partner price: $259 excl GST (only available to New Homes, Gold or Silver Package Partners).
