Renovated red cottage in the country comes with ‘Orient Express’

Built in 1910, the cottage has been home to a growing family for the past 20 years.

And the piéce de rèsistance - a fully restored train carriage that provides a self-contained guest suite.

The carriage recalls some of the luxury of the Orient Express.

Mid-way along the carriage there’s a kitchenette and a small table beside the window.

And there are bathroom facilities on board.

The hallway in the house retains its traditional panelling and mouldings.

Although with every modern convenience, the kitchen has traditionally styled panel doors on the cabinetry, and the old Rayburn range remains.

Living areas open to the outdoors.

The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom.
