Description
Some classic Sennheiser HD555 / HD595's. These sound lovely. I have had many Sennheisers over the years and love these. If the HD6XX / HD650 are a little wallet heavy then try these. These 555's have had the 595 mod done, simply removing a little bit of material that's stuck to the inside of the main grille. It opens the up a bit more and is definitely worth doing.
I have repaired these. This model is known to crack in the main part at the swivel point. Metal pins have been added, the surface refinished and the painted on HD58x colour scheme. Not perfect, I have tried to photograph the new joins.
Properly painted with etching primer first.
I have another pair of these that also need repair work. I will repair that set too and keep them. This will be the only model of over-ear headphones I'll own, as little as that's worth...
