Up for sale is a Thorens TD-135 Mk1, one of the most desirable and collectible idler-drive turntables from the golden age of hi-fi. This unit is 1 owner from new, extremely well cared for, and in excellent working and cosmetic condition.

About the Thorens TD-135: Introduced in the late 1950s, the TD-135 Mk1 was Thorens’ compact alternative to the famous TD-124. Despite being smaller, it uses the same precision-engineered idler-drive system, legendary for its speed stability, drive, and musicality.

What makes the TD-135 Mk1 especially rare is its short production run and the fact that many surviving units are either heavily used or missing parts. To find one in this condition – with its original manual, solid plinth, and a quality cartridge – is uncommon, and makes this a true collector’s piece.
