FAULTY..... Veon 50" tv - broken LED backlight.

The TV is in Taranaki..... Please don't bid if you live outside of Taranaki, or have no intention of picking up the item. EG... it is unrealistic to expect a buyer to do a pickup if he lives in Auckland! or has to travel for hours just to pick up a Broken TV. Please don't waste time bidding and wasting my time bidding unless you really intend to buy the item. Thank you.

Backlight deiced to die one day.... I think it's the led's themselves, as two dark spots appeared one day in two separate areas at left lower corner. I have pulled the cover off hoping it was an easy fix, but to get to the led's is a major job and I didn't want to break the screen. I am selling as parts, with remote.

The good parts: The screen is not cracked or damaged except for the backlight. If you look properly when turned on, you can see that everything is working fine... including the sound. It was a great tv when we bought it from Hospice, but the AV inputs were damaged. But we used HDMI anyway.
