For most remote-controlled Solar Flood Lights, the remote will turn the light on or off but the following day the light reverts to auto and will come on by itself at dusk. This latest JD range from MGG has total remote control so when you turn it off it stays off until you turn it on again. You get light on demand or you can set it to auto so it comes on at dusk and off at dawn. You can select the length of time it stays on and the brightness. We are really impressed with this range. They are super slim too and very well priced
How the system works The solar panel charges the battery inside the light during the day providing the power to operate the light at night. There is some reserve in the battery to compensate for dull days.
