Led by a locally rooted director with deep architectural and construction experience, our studio specialises in thoughtful, practical, and beautifully crafted residential architecture - from dream new builds to carefully considered renovations.

We're looking for an Intermediate Architectural Designer to join our growing team and help bring elegant, well-resolved homes to life - designs that delight clients, work within real-world constraints, and genuinely improve how people live.

What you'll be doing:

• Design & Documentation
• Develop concepts and complete design packages that clearly communicate architectural intent
• Produce construction-ready documentation using Archicad (visualisation experience a bonus)
• Project Support & Coordination
• Work closely with consultants and builders to ensure quality outcomes
• Assist with Resource and Building Consent documentation and submissions
• Team & Site Engagement
• Contribute ideas in design reviews and team discussions
• Participate in site visits and construction observation as required

What we're looking for:

• 3-7 years' experience in architectural design practice (New Zealand based experience essential)
• Strong Archicad proficiency (we're open to upskilling the right person)
• Solid knowledge of the NZ Building Code and consent processes
• A strong design eye balanced with detail-focused documentation skills
• Proactive, collaborative attitude and a genuine appetite for learning
