This is a Tier 2 main contractor has built a strong reputation from successful proven project delivery over the past decade. They boast a high staff retention rate; they fly under the radar but deliver high profile projects. With recent signed contracts, 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for them.
They are after a Site Manager – Services to take ownership of all building services delivery on a large, complex project. This role is ideal for a qualified electrician who has moved into site or services management and wants to step into a leadership position on a high-profile build.
About the Role
You’ll oversee the coordination, installation, and quality of all building services on site, with a strong focus on electrical systems while also managing mechanical, hydraulic, and fire services. Working closely with the Building Services Manager, Project Director, and subcontractors, you’ll ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and design intent.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day services delivery on site across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and fire systems
- Oversee subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to programme
- Review drawings, identify clashes, and support design coordination
- Ensure compliance with H&S, QA, and site standards
- Work closely with the Building Services Manager to resolve technical issues
- Monitor progress, report on services milestones, and support commissioning activities
- Maintain strong communication between site teams, consultants, and subcontractors
About You
- Registered Electrician or strong electrical trade background
- 5+ years’ experience in commercial construction, ideally in a services or site management role
- Strong understanding of building services installation and sequencing
- Confident managing subcontractors and driving programme outcomes
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills
- Proactive, detail-focused, and able to work autonomously
Salary: $140K - $150K + vehicle
